Our daily practices should bring harmony to our being, rather than feed our imbalances.

Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a sister science to yoga. The teachings draw from the qualities present in nature and the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether) to better understand our own nature.

This ancient system helps us maintain good health by understanding our relationship to the seasons, food, lifestyle, and our physical yoga practice.

These tools are another way to help prepare the body and mind for the process of Self-realization.

When applied to a yoga practice, we can become more mindful of the time of day, the weather, any other environmental factors as well as internal systemic imbalances. This leads to intelligent sequencing of postures, breath techniques, and meditation to bring balance and health to the system.

Our daily practices should bring harmony to our being, rather than feed our imbalances.
